No, not the Psilocybin kind. Anyone else have them in their lawn this year? I could ‘harvest’ 100 a day from my yard the past few weeks…out in the open with no shade…and the sun doesn’t seem to bother them.

We have had an increase as well. Possibly because of the rainy conditions we had awhile back.

We’ve had rain and wet conditions before…maybe my lawn is finally getting healthy…who knows. I’ve got some spots with dozens and dozens every single day…takes 30 minutes to clear the entire yard before I mow. First world problems I guess.

Just hope they aren’t stinkhorns those things popped up in my yard last year and I thought they looked cool. Then I picked one and just about vomited. I felt like I’d been sprayed by a skunk

Mushrooms in your lawn come from decaying wood underneath the soil surface. Spores are ever present and waiting for the proper condition to sprout. The wet year and temps have had everything to do with it. Unless you feel like excavating, not much you can do but cultivate with the lawn mower.
