Turning the ball over 4 times isn’t a legitimate excuse for why we were down when in fact the offense wasn’t good enough to keep the ball or the defense of Syracuse was to make the TOS happen
If we had 8 TOs and won, we’d be glad to have the Dub but this board would be melting down (rightfully so!)
We looked like #### against Syracuse. The D was amazing in the second half and the O did enough to get the win. The mental fortitude should be applauded, the offensive effort in that game was abysmal.
That said, if the game had 5 quarters, we win by another 14 points. The momentum was def ours.

had little to do with a couple of the turnovers. A botched handoff when DJ should have given the ball to the RB and an interception thrown straight to a DB. I forget details of the other two but we need a clean game as far as that goes this week. Nobody can overcome the 8 turnover game and a 35 point 3rd quarter like Wake had last week.

when we were blowing their defense away and headed for scores. All offensive stats were heavily in Clemson’s favor.
IMHO, the only “caused” TO was the hit on Shipley, and even that was after a nice gain deep in Syracuse territory.
The CFP committee (thankfully) analyzes games a little deeper than fans or AP poll voters.

He added only a comment about Syracuse and Clemson. What's he even trying to say? That TCU should be above Clemson?
Klatt has long had a woody to try and rag on Clemson. He doesn't like the fact we beat his team last we played. Nonetheless, why even utter Clemson in reference to TCU and Alabama?
Your statement that people are "soft" is off base. Par for the course, and why do you so often fail using what reads like, "coot-logic"? That aside, your critique is denied!

Clemson would handle Michigan in a big time matchup. Think all those Oklahoma destructions of years past...
Clemson will roll against the Domers coming off of this buy week.
Syracuse was a bit of a trap game imo. Nooner on Homecoming weekend before the bye week. All those consecutive hard fought primetime matchups.
Syracuse played a tough physical game. Clemson just had a bad game.
