What exactly needs to happen for our team between now and the end of ACC tourney to get us a ticket to MM ?

That estimate has FSU (16-11, 7-8) as getting in.

I know it's not all about record, since RPI rules all now, but how can a sub .500 ACC team get in when a team like Clemson who is several games better not get in? If the ACC is as unimpressive as some of the "experts" keep saying, I don't see how any team with a sub .500 ACC record gets in.
I still think Clemson is in decent shape to get in. We obviously need to lose no more than 1 ACC game the rest of the regular season, and ideally we won't lose any. Finish the regular season undefeated, get 20 wins overall and be 12-6 in the ACC, and there is no way we won't be in.

FSU still has to play Syracuse and...... wait for it...... Ga Tech on Sunday, which will now be a very interesting game to watch now that their key players are healthy again (as we witnessed this week).

Win out, and win a few in the acc tourney just to be on a very narrow edge to get into the dance. From what I have read from the talking heads, we're not a solid bubble team. But there is a chance according to what happens to teams ahead of us. But if we luck out and get in, we will be better than a one and done team I do believe b/c of Brownells defense. That is just my personal opinion, so just keep asking and reading to see wht you can find out. But if we don't at least win out, we are done for getting for a chance of getting in.
