Didn't effect tbe throw, but it doesn't matter. It's a safety rule and no grey areas. Runner must get down period. Easy call, that's why the ump called it immediately.

Heck once we didn’t turn the double play I honestly thought they were gonna walk us off…….I look up and see the team celebrating but he was clearly safe and called safe at 1st base so I yelled “it must’ve been interference”
