IF you win...I don't understand why so many on here chalk this up to an easy victory. Your offense will be great but if you are banking on a freshman corner to save the day in his first college game against a solid QB like Aaron Murray (yes he is good and if you think he is not then you are just way too biased) then good luck. Murray is gonna throw at Alexander earlier, if he buckles the. He will keep going at him.
If CU does win then I agree, ESPN will fall in love with y'all.

Puppy.....Georgia is going down. We do not have a freshman starting at DB, where are you getting this from? How many players will you have suspended for the first game? Over/Under at 4

Both teams will have defensive issues,but freshman corner,or nor freshman corner,the difference will be the Valley.
If the game were at UGA,I would say your Dawgs would be favored.
Easy victory,no way.But Clemson will win this match -up.

Just my opinion,but I think the overconfidence comes from the success we had in the Chic-Fil-A Bowl victory over LSU.

the tiger secondary will be the weak link in their defense no matter who starts. A Murray will take full advantage of that while most are concerning themselves with Gurshall. dead valley does not intimidate the dawgs.

There's a reason why Clemson fans have to say they play in the "real death valley" while LSU fans don't. Aaron Murray will not be phased by the home crowd, he has played in many more tougher environments than Clemson's.

Just loves to give his analysis on the state of clemson football. Nobody cares what you have to say today or any other day. I realize DV is a tough place to play, but we play in stadiums that are as big or bigger all the time. We may lose or we may win, but it's definitely not a check in the win column for either team.

I'm a coot and that is noted here. I've seen a billion threads about how Alexander and the freshman class will be the difference maker.
I agree Clemson will probably be favored by 1-3 BC they are at home but as my Gamecocks proved last year, good coaching and execution are more important than playing at home. Do you not think UGA plays at hostile venues week in and week out?

The difference there is that Spurrier proved years ago to be a good coach, a College Hall of Fame coach, Mark Richt has done less with more than everyone except Lane Kiffin.

What SHOULD matter (when we win) is that all the men that take the field wearing Orange and White beat a beast from the "SEC", they will BELIEVE in themseleves and each other.
They will have taken but just the first step towards greatness for CLEMSON, and not the praise or adulation of ESPN!!
