How could this be addressed?..

Sep 1, 2013, 4:17 PM

FSU did it against us last year on every crucial 3rd down. NW did it a lot against Cali last night. Maybe the team has to take a TO after so many injuries? Or can't substitute except for the injured player on injury TO? I think the bottom line is Grantham is ultimately telling his players they are not good enough to stop Clemson without cheating...huge mental advantage to Clemson!!

Only way to address it...

Only way to address these 'injuries' would be to hold the 'injured' player out for a certain # of plays or keep him out of the drive or next drive.

Sick of these 'SEC timeouts'

I say if a player is caught faking like 84 did he should be immediately kicked out of the game and suspended for 1 quarter of the next game. Also a 15 yard penalty should be added for unsportsman like conduct and a TO taken away. This would stop this nonsense.

Also if a player forces a injury TO they shouldn't be allowed back in play until the next quarter. That would help prevent the one's the ref's miss.

Simple, a player for whom the clock is stopped due to injury, must sit out the rest of the series for medical evaluation. If the clock stoppage is due to a timeout or penalty, the rule doesn't apply.

That, however, won't happen this year. For now, officials should be encouraged to call unsportsmanlike conduct.

Hey, sometimes you don't know your leg hurts until your buddy taps you and reminds you.
