End of day five cleaning.

No pigs, the only thing I did was to prep for setting out the LED lights and finishing the front and side doors. The guys who framed this building had not ever spoken to a carpenter. The nailed the face of the frame on both the strike and hinge side with 8 coated nails and the hinges were loose causing the leaf to rub the frame on the strike side.
I stopped by lowes and picked up a pack of shims for the hinge side and used my saw to cut a 1/4" rip to fill the void behind the strike at where the door is mortised. I could have opened that door without a key by pushing the frame apart with my hands.
I could not put my tools in that building without making that door 'honest man,' proof.
Glen still hasn't moved that riding law mower but he got some 30 something fat girl to those ~125 paint cans in outside. It opened up another 6' by 15' of floor space for me.
I haven't touched the sheetrock in the house and I've decided when that riding mower is out of the space I need I will put a couple quick coats on it and sand it the next day and turn it over to him.
I checked the mileage on my truck and it's 9 miles minus a few feet from my drive to Glen's. Less that 20 miles/da if I don't go shopping on the way.
I'm going back tomorrow morning and set my light fixtures out and start hanging plastic on those walls.

If you're a car guy, you know, you earned your mancard without growing a full 6" beard, you're going to love what's coming up.
I'm removing all the detachable sheet metal from a 1985 MB w126 sedan and doing a restoration paint job. I'm not painting the door jams or the interior side of the doors, sunroof, trunk lid or hood because they remain as perfect as when they were assembled in Germany.
I promised regular updates and these details might entertain some.
