Remember effort he gave in National Championship game against Nebraska.....gave everything he had that night to help us win that game......I will never forget that.....looking forward to this years playoffs and hope we can win it all again......Go Tigers!!!!

If I'm remembering correctly, he collapsed with exhaustion after the game.

You are correct, had to give him IV for dehydration.

Think there was also an issue with all the smoke from victory cigars causing him to become light headed.

Had to cut his jersey off to give him medical treatment. All time great performance.

I remember! There was no quit in that team, and the great individual performance by Homer really highlighted it.
