would you add to enhance Death Valley and our campus on Gameday? How about facilities wise?
I still think we need to make sure we have a museum like Bama, Auburn, and UGA celebrating our football tradition/and or the history of the school.

the west zone big time donors (bless their generosity)shouldn't be the only ones that don't have to leave at halftime to get a drink or 3.

The only other stadium that rivals DV is Georgia's

Its just a good place to watch a game but the parking and tailgating suck...fans notwithstanding. I've never sat in that 3rd deck so I might change my opinion next year.
Auburn tailgating was cool since you were so close to the downtown. Felt pretty cramped in the actual stadium.
Tennessee...awful. Cramped in and around the stadium.
SC - terrible access.
DV is the best combination of access in and around the stadium and tailgating. Not enough roads in/out but nothing you can do about that. With the athletic complex on the perimeter of the school, its tough to feature the school for many of the folks coming to the game.

I think all the buildings are probably there now with the indoor practice facility.
A players only lounge around the stadium is found at most places and is just like anything else.
I may think my new Ford Taurus loaded out with power windows, sunroof, Sirius radio etc is nice until you pull up next to me and I see your Lexus, BMW, Mercedes etc
it isn't that Clemson doesn't have something, it is how much nicer is the other teams

across Williamston Road from the Hill and why Memorial Stadium is called just that. Also, advertise that the entire 1917 class sent a letter to Pres. Woodrow Wilson volunteering their service for WWI and numerous other moments/people, etc. that contribute to Clemson's rich military heritage.

or anything? I would love to read about that. Im sure we had a lot of men who played football and fought in wars. It would be nice to have a museum where we dedicate those guys and our football tradition.

I have been to a number of different schools and venues and Clemson by far is the best. My only suggestion may be like at Heinz Field where they have a Hall of Fame area with pictures and memorabilia of former players to view in the stadium. AND much better food inside, local business instead of the high priced crap they serve now.

college football and enjoy tailgating but WB sucks. To me DV rules pregame, during the game and after the game. Do wish entering and leaving wasn't such a hassle but that is everywhere. I wish Clemson had maps to help you out when you park. Last year and the usc game, my wife and I almost got lost. Never parked in that area again and hope I never park there again.

Better sound system! Individual stadium seating! Statues of Clemson greats outside of stadium! Make a trip to Denny Bryant stadium, and you will see the difference. Having said that, Death Valley is special and the game day atmosphere Is second to none!

We just installed a new sound system last year, a NICE one. When they were testing it out and adjusting the sound the bass was shakink the windows at my dorm in Calhoun Courts which is on the completely opposite side of campus.
Death Valley is unique, why would we want it to be like anyone elses stadium ESPECIALLY Alabama?

Is that possible, or is that against the rules since we are a public school with an on-campus stadium?

I think we should too! And it is possible. West Virginia, Louisville (i think), and a few others do. Only problem I see for us is it would be really hard to regulate underage drinking with all the people on The Hill.

I've gone to Auburn, GT, FSU, Wake, USuCk, and technically Miami's stadium for the Orange Bowl. None of them compare to Death Valley.. We have the best game day experience in the nation. I will say though of the places I've gone to, Auburn and FSU were the better ones but still not close to Clemson. Go Tigers!!

Been to USCe, UGa, Duke, WF, GT, Atlanta Dome, Carolina Panthers, USF/Tampa Bay, FSU, Wisconsin, Notre Dame, Kentucky, Vandy, Birmingham (Old Iron Bowl), New Miami, Old Orange Bowl, Orlando, Old Fulton County (Old Peach Bowl)... think that is it.
None compare. Once we get the Oculus... no one can touch us. Would like to see a museum.
Also likes the idea some Gamecock had (believe it or not). Both Clemson and USCe need to have a cool looking Palmetto Tree (maybe a bronze one) inside the stadium somewhere, with a way to place a crescent moon over it like the state flag.
Each year we play the "Carolina Crescent Bowl" for the Crescent Moon, and it hangs over the winner's tree until next game.

been to gainesville many times. The layout of the football stadium and other sports facilities on the campus are very similar to Clemson. Lots of orange also, but no Lake Hartwell and the fans arent Clemson friendly.

It's a cool stadium and environment. I've been in grad school at vt. Been to Thursday night games pre Logan Thomas(so tall). I didn't think it even remotely compared to Death Valley. Stadium is smaller ,its not as loud. Enter sandman is cool but doesn't even come close to running down the hill. To somewhat answer your question it seems similar to our stadium just not as good. They serve turkey legs. Maybe we could serve fried chicken???

and it's pretty cool. The tailgating set up isn't nearly as good as death valley's though. Their band and massive flags are very cool to see. It was surprisingly loud too.
I have also been to Michigan State's stadium. It was colder than antarctica the day I went so the crowd wasn't as juiced but I was still impressed with the layout of the stadium and the fans. They have a very cool statue of sparty that everyone gathers around.

Our Tiger Band is pretty neat too in formations but just too small & without many schollies to get the job done on such a grand scale.

really cannot say I have ever seen anything that screamed "we need that at Clemson". Our area is awesome, the tailgating is better, and you can't beat the valley. Some have better restrooms, some have better seats (a little), and some have a better food selection in the stadium, but that is about it. I think we as Tigers are very fortunate in the gameday experience category.
