You had me at "recruiting the State of South Carolina"! More power hitting life long Tiger fans, less of the skinny small ball types from New England!

You do realize some of those in state and life long tiger fans playing for this team where half the problem and are still on the team? Half the team was from South Carolina already, most of the other half was from Georgia. We only had 4 from New England on the team, whereas Monte had 5 or 6 at CofC. You going to blow him off for recruiting Nationally like our brand is? If the player is worth it sign him no matter where he lives or is from. Otherwise if you sign all SC players you may end up like we have been and what SC is doing now losing. Take a notice at those drafted only one was from SC unless you count Clate who was born in SC then two. The athletic coaches are only doing what Clemson University is doing in general and that's taking more out of state students. The reality of the situation is that Clemson University in general is not the Clemson it use to be with majority of in state students and athletes. It is slowly numbers wise going to less percentages.
