Swinney: What a great football game. Great, great finish for our seniors. Nothing better than those guys walking off the field one last time a winner. That's three turnover margin wins and three wins in a row.

Swinney: Death Valley is special. I think we're 68-3 in our last 71 here at home. There were five offsides. Our fans were awesome. So much fun to do what you love in an environment like that.

Swinney: Defensively we bent a little bit, but they were 6th in the country in third down and they were 29%...Just proud of our defense. A lot of guys making plays. Big turnover in the red zone. The play by Nate Wiggins was unbelievable. One of the greatest football players I've ever seen.

Swinney: That (Wiggins play) was inspiring...I can't wait to get the GPS data on how fast he was running. And we went on a 80-yard TD drive. That kinda lit the fire for us. Really proud of these guys.

Swinney: Will Shipley -- you hate him but you love him...I like it when he's mad. Good stuff happens when he's mad. What a performance...He looked like he was shot out of a cannon a few times. Really proud of him.

Swinney says they thought they had it on the Tyler Davis fake punt...They went into the game going for it on the situation with that play.

Swinney: You see a lot of maturation in Nate Wiggins. I thought he had a lot of poise tonight. Stayed focused. That kid's a great player and he made a great play. I told him after the game that I was really proud of him.

Swinney: We're playing aggressive defensively. In your face. Getting after it...Once we really got going, we stopped the run. When we stopped the run, we were able to get to him (Drake Maye).

Swinney: Our defense has played well enough for us to be undefeated. It's pretty special to have affirmation of what you think your core values are. To see them come to light. You gotta go through some challenges to really see.

Swinney: This team has put themselves in position to have a really good finish. It's all about how you finish. These guys have had a lot of resilience and I'm proud of them for that.

Swinney on a decision that Will Shipley might have for going pro: Shipley is a dynamic player. I think he will be a great pro. He's a guy that coaches are gonna love because he can do so much. He just has to decide if he wants to give up college football. It's a matter of what he wants to do. I hope he comes back. One more little ride. We've kinda hit our stride with him and Mafah.

Swinney: I just wanted to enjoy these guys. I really love these guys. These guys have just battled. I'm just happy for them. It's fun to see them compete and put their heart in what they're doing. There were a lot of big-time plays. That's one I'll remember. Our backs have been against the wall for what seems like forever and we just keep battling. It's just inspiring to be a part of.

I can't recall a more impressive play. The only comparable play is when Bird stole the ball. That's how it made me feel.
