Brad Brownell: more losses than any other coach in school history.

I hope Spurrier coaches forever. He may be our rival's HC, and he may be a great coach, but I really love him. He's far too entertaining. If he retires in 2-3 years I hope he goes to one of the big networks or at least has a podcast haha.

Dang.
Their recruit-class rank hasn't updated yet, or if it has I can't find it.

Where will all this land them?!

What is devastating about this trend for the Coots is...

Dec 13, 2014, 11:22 AM

...that four of the five were early enrollees. That is like losing them for the 2015 season entirely or, if they do end up playing, they will be nowhere near as ready.

Contrast that with Clemson bringing in 17(!) early enrollees in this years class...

no need to panic, SCU will always be able to fill up on kids that could not qualify at other programs.

What is going on? Is this all because of Spurriers 2-3 year

Dec 13, 2014, 11:52 AM

Yeah pretty much that 2-3 year comment by Spurrier has been cited in some articles as the main reason recoots are rethinking their commitments.

Dec 13, 2014, 12:48 PM [ in reply to What is going on? Is this all because of Spurriers 2-3 year ]

"I just don't know who is going to be coaching there in 2-3 years," Milton said. "If I redshirt, I would not even be playing for this staff. (USC offensive line coach) Shawn Elliott was the main reason I wanted to go to South Carolina."

Milton was asked if potential changes on the defensive side of the ball, including the possibility that his recruiter, defensive line coach Deke Adams, would not return to South Carolina, played an impact.

"No, I am on the other side of the ball," Milton said. "Maybe if (USC head coach) Steve Spurrier retired, though (that would have been a factor)."
