What? He tell the Cawks what everyone else knows? That they’re the worst return on investment ever in major college football? There isn’t a close second. One ACC Championship when the league was worse than usual. Think they were 7-4 and lost the bowl game if I’m remembering correctly.

Sap is a die hard coot and SEC homer. I questioned his loyalty to this bunch by e-mail a few years ago.
His response was, if I remember correctly, he was not a graduate of an SEC school. He maintained that he was not biased toward that group but we all know he is and seldom writes anything derogatory towards them.

Larry Williams since like August that an announcement in Oct could take place.

He only reinforced the argument/likelihood that it would happen when he also had a source say the same thing to him this week.

So there’s a lot of misinformation being put out. Someone’s either lying to Hood or Williams.

The good news is it’s happening. The only question is when and to which conference?

If we go to the Big 10, I’m seriously going to give up my Iptay membership and season tickets. That will be the last college football straw for me. We need regional opponents, not opponents clear across and halfway across the country. This would be terrible.

Clemson brings far more value to the big than the sec in terms of opening a southeastern pipeline for viewership and recruiting/buying players. And in an era of everything going to the highest bidder, that may be the deciding factor. Personally I think the big will be a better fit. Clemson will be subsumed in the sec
