Won't go on a rant but I guess y'all know I'm fuming over the par 5's, and in particular #11. Our two best not only don't birdie the d a m n thing, they bogey. They'll lose a lot of strokes to teams on that hole.
Great eagle by Melena but a sandwich is delicious unless you're eating the meat on bogey bread.
Come on ladies, get off your rump and start playing.

Yeah ...... lots of birdies from the other teams. I have played that course many times and three of the par 5's are just alike. Each of the 3 have a hazard right in front of the green (or relatively close) and if you hit a good tee shot you have an opportunity to go for the green, but you can't leave the ball short. Otherwise just lay up and have a wedge to the green. You can actually play those holes with a fairway wood or long iron off the tee with an easy lay-up with an iron. I'm guessing out gals went for the green in two and hit the hazard ...... almost a sure bogey. Wish I was there watching.

Thank you tigerlinks. Me too. I had posted several days ago that it would be great (and we certainly could do it) to have live feeds on several greens or holes. Just like we do with tennis. Wouldn't have to be manned, just like the others at the valley or around campus.
Anyway, you know how cranky I can get. Love the girls to death and we know what they're capable of. Now Syd Syd's sandwich tasted a lot better with birdie bread even if the meat was dry.
Speaking of girls, why is Anna Morgan (Furman) not on our team.

Every tournament, same tired narratives by Clemgalalways®. Why don't you give the Par5 scoring rants a rest? You are actually wrong about this and many of your other observations. For years you cherrypick stats and bash our golfers one minute (like you do Melena....remember Zack Gordon?!) and then call them cute names the next just because you follow them on Instagram.
Here's a cherrypicked stat for you: Clemson was -7 on Par 5s today. And Melena had a solid day to more than keep us in the hunt. Here's to another nice performance tomorrow by the Clemson Women's Golf team and, hopefully, a day off from your bogey bread commentary.

Whoa whoa. You got this all wrong. I absolutely love Melena and think she's a great golfer. They all are. Sir, you have this all wrong. The posters on this thread will all tell you this is all in jest. Everyone knows anything I say is all love. As for the par 5's stuff, that dates back to most of us following the pro golfers for many years.
It's all in good fun that when you look at the scorecards and surmise had golfer so and so just scored the tour average of 40% on the par 5's, they would have shot better, made a cut, got their tour card. Hey, everything I post on social media comes straight from the heart. Everything that I post here is all love.
I would never bash any of our golfers. I did post something very shameful on social media about Zack. I apologized to him personally. That was sadly in a fit of anger. I know golf as playing it frequently for 65 years is tough as nails. If I make a post on here, tnet saying Chloe could have easily shot a -4 round today had she not dB the first and bogey 16 and 17... the first person that knows that is that person whom I said it. Furthermore, I wouldn't say that if I didn't know that they are more than capable of shooting that. It's actually a huge compliment.
If I've offended anyone, then I do apologize, or will apologize. Just let me know. It's not at all what you think it is. I would gladly talk to you offline if you like but you have it all wrong.

Started Great . . . Hit “the wall” in the middle . . . and had enough rally (Sydney, Annabelle and Chloe) just enough to finish the day in a T-2nd Place.
Remember there are 4 Team Ranked HIGHER than us in the Field . . .
We had 4 of Our TIGERS finish the day in the Top 31:
Annabelle T-9th Place @ -2
Chloe T-9th Place @ -2
Isabella T-20th Place @ Even Par
Sydney T-31st Place @ +1
Clemgalalways® has a right to be miffed. As a Team we played the Par 5s at +1 . . . The 4 Gals whose Scores were counted today, we played them @ +2 . . .
Just as a reference, Vandy’s 4 “Counters” played the Par 5s @ -8 . . . and there is the difference in 1st and 2nd Place.
Tomorrow will be another fun day . . . Like TigerLinks® , I would love to walk the course with Our TIGERS tomorrow!!!
Eat well . . . Rest even better . . . and hit’em Crisp and Straight ALL DAY TIGERS!!!

Not sure why I can't TU this post. Also not sure what harump stuff is about.
As skeeta56 laid out. Everyone will have a bad hole. But the non scoring on the 5's have become a common trend of the team this season. Any of you that follow our golf posts understand it's not disrespect to any players... but par 5 bogeys are a pet peeve of mine. Better day tomorrow and will be fun to follow no matter what.
Same with our other golfers that are pros. See you at the pros posts.

It's looking like we may have to put up with the 3 holes at a time scoring today. Not sure why... I don't know if that's a tournament decision or if that's controlled by golfstats.
A lot of teams getting off to a hot start. Meanwhile, we make a mess out of the first hole. We also as of yet don't have a golfer with a hot stick like the other teams. Hopefully we'll get firing on our home course. Two ways, birdies here and there and pars or a ton of birdies with bogeys.
Was really thinking we'd be like vandy and hold a commanding lead. Come on ladies. You need to win this thing.
