Simple. Dabo sees practice every day and 4 minutes of a blowout game is not a body of work. If you don't want the best, I expect there are plenty of available seats in Columbia.

This is what scares me. I know he is giving it his all he’s just not that guy. The offensive play calls changed with Cade. The offense looked like our normal offense. DJs fit isn’t Clemson. He needs a Wisconsin type offense that he can play action pass out of.

What possible value would starting CK bring against Furman? Are we going to lose if DJ plays? Are we going to lose to La Tech with DJ?

No.

So why would a head coach come across as so desperate, as having so little faith in the guy who is the starter, if he pulled him after a single drive by a true freshman?

Dabo has been through this before and knows what he’s doing. As fans, we must fully support whoever starts or takes the field. I saw what you saw and have my own personal opinion. However, I will trust Dabo and sincerely wish the very best for both QB’s and our team. They know what and why they’re doing things, I’m just a fan wishing them success.

Totally agree. And it will be very disappointing to this Tiger fan if I hear booing in DV Saturday if/when DJ throws a bad pass.

Better is the enemy of best.


It means you never stop improving. Ever.

Because the goal line of "best" is always moving away from you. Even if you are the one moving it because you are currently the "best".
