You’re correct sir. Fan is short for fanatic. It’s unreasonable support/love of a team.

Questioning Rittman is kinda crazy. He’s done an amazing job building this team. We lost a lot of super senior experience this year. Our pitching isn’t what it has been either. McCubbin is a liability where she was an asset last year. Cagle isn’t pitching like she has in previous seasons. Regan Spencer has emerged as our ACE with a 0.60 ERA which is top 5 nationally. Val and Thompson are both closer to 2.00 and McCubbin doesn’t crack the top 150 in ERA. That’s the main issue we’re facing. Pitching isn’t holding teams down. Timely hits aren’t coming at crucial points. I don’t see that as Rittman’s fault. He has brought in great recruits and the future still looks bright. I also have faith that by time the regionals roll around Rittman will have it figured out and make a decent run into the post season.

Does Brownell deserve another year? Nope. But he has secured at least one more season. I don’t expect much out of him. We won against Baylor in spite of Brownell’s terrible decisions down the stretch. He had them playing not to lose. It rarely works out but we overcame it. The margin for error gets smaller as we go deeper. We should keep our foot on the gas and throats of our opponents. I believe this team has the talent to make the final four. Even the talking heads are kinda getting on board a bit. However, I don’t trust Brownell based on his body of work. Sweet sixteen is great but I expected it based on the lineup. I doubt he will see this success again any time soon. This is our ceiling with BB as HC. I want to be wrong. Win it all Brad.
