MinorLeagueBall.com’s 10-round projection includes three Clemson high school signees, including a pair of righthanded pitchers from the Atlanta area tabbed as possible second-rounders – Clate Schmidt of Allatoona High in Acworth, Ga., and Lucas Sims of Brookwood High in Lawrenceville, Ga.

Projected as a possible sixth-round selection is lefthanded pitcher Matthew Crownover, who underwent ‘Tommy John Surgery’ on his elbow earlier this spring. Crownover has been committed to the Tigers since before his sophomore season in high school.

He doesn't sign players that he doesn't expect to show up. It will be interesting to see what happens between now and July 13 because the Braves don't have much money to spend, just over 4 million on 10 picks. Will he give them a "hometown discount"? Will he want 2 million or more and if so, will they be willing to part with half of their pool to one guy?
