crops? Anyone driving by, even if that were possible, probably assumed it was the orchard owners doing the harvesting. Some pretty bold thieves, grabbing 4,000 lbs of peaches had to have taken quite awhile.

They caught the idiots, camped right by the orchard and filled up a truck load of peaches. They got caught in Greenville. Apparently when peaches are sold at a market, they aren't the size of a softball!

Translates to about 160 1/2 bushel baskets. Had to be already picked, because it would have taken them awhile to gather that many.
