Watkins' injury ...as it relates to the outcome of the game.

A lot has been made of the team prepping a few new packages to feature Watkins very prominently, and we all saw that go out the window. Conventional wisdom dictates that if at all possible you don't WANT to be without your best athlete. That said, do you think the outcome of the game would have been any different if we'd been able to attack LSU with the gameplan we rolled into Atlanta with?

I imagine if Watkins were in the game as well, it wouldn't have been nearly as exciting.

We play better without him. Just look at the games we played with outh him. Much better team!

I just think he wasn't completely ready in the early games that he came back on. He missed 4 games and still had over 700 yards receiving. I think with him in there we win even bigger. Not even close. lets cover Sammy or Nuk or Sammy or Sammy or Nuk. come on Sammy puts a little different aspect to our offense. Even if it's a decoy.

If you'll reread, you'll notice that I didn't really "SAY" anything. My post was more of a question.
As for my timing, I'll post again when I feel I have a perspective I haven't heard or seen covered, or have a question I'd like answered by the masses (or at least given perspective I may not have).

got in the flat. With Watkins' size and speed, some of those might have netted a few more yards and possibly a big play or two.

Yep the only thing that really changed (with the exception of Humphries pass catch total) was the number of running plays that Boyd had. I think Sammy would have gotten about 10-12 carries in place of Boyd. But then the airbags calling the game would not have been able to rail on and on about the beating Tajh was taking.
