Why are any Clemson fans surprised?

Clemson Basketball has never been that great! I don't understand the recruiting! We get em in football but not in basketball! How is so different? I wanna play for Clemson football but not in basketball! The tigers will never win with the players they have and/or get versus the other ACC teams!

Well, we’ve never won squat at basketball, and have been a doormat in the ACC more often than not. That’s probably what hampers recruiting.

I am not surprised. This outcome was entirely predictable. Anybody want to hazard a guess about the upcoming game against #8 UNC?

I think we could easily beat unc… it’ll be a grinder with the big men battling but it’s at home which is huge in college basketball. We are fine we are 11-2 lol and played a really good team tonight that just couldn’t miss and shot the ball great… we aren’t 6-6 let’s just see how the team responds.

Well we were expected this win with the injuries to Miami. Sucks when a good team doesn't shock ppl with losses.

The reason intelligent fans are not surprised is because Miami is a good basketball team. Coach Larranaga is as good as they get but is was discouraging to see us get torched by 75% shooting in the 2nd half and giving up 60 points.

Intelligent fans? How long have you watched or kept up with Clemson Basketball? Maybe I am unintelligent…. Im just wondering why cant the sales pitch be the same? We have loss a lot of football recruits cause of the "mighty SEC" I'm just wondering why haven't Clemson got basketball recruits for the same reason? ACC basketball?

The ACC schedule is full of good teams. Seen this movie so many times and know how it ends. Reel off a bunch of wins in Nov and Dec and before you know it the record is even deep into the ACC schedule by end of Feb.

Typically, if we score 82, we're winning the game.
Miami got hot in the 2nd half and rode the home momentum. Finished at just under 50% from 3 and over 50% FG.
Sometimes it happens in in CBB. Anyone thinking tonight is some lackluster team has clearly not watched many games this year.
Heck, maybe y'all should stop watching because we're winning the other games you're not watching 😂
