Who is fast enough on our team to spy Braxton Miller?

Crawford and Shuey were both to slow to keep up with Shaw. We tried both of those guys when spying Shaw and neither could reliably keep up with him. We need a player like Lemarcus Joyner (FSU) who can play a hybrid Safety/CB type of role and is fast enough to catch a mobile QB and still make plays in space and coverage. An LB/DE is not going to cut it. Even though our secondary is mediocre I'd take our chances one on one with OSU's WRs rather than have BM run up and down the field on us. Hope Brent can figure out something new with our current personnel because what we did vs SCAR wasn't working.

But he always finds a way to get lost and confused. Tony Steward would be awesome, wish it would all just click for him

The old Christian. I didn't see him lost and confused much this season. I was fairly impressed with him. I think Steward, Blanks, or Christian will have to stop him. Keep Miller in the pocket and Clemson can beat Ohio State, let him run around like Shaw did and it will end up being a shootout.

spy on him... But since that's not an option I think Tony Steward is our best bet.

Sammy or Bryant are fast enough. Put them in. Bryant or Humpries could go in on D to force some turnovers... Just kidding. I love my tigers. Just making a negative a positive.

He has done it on one or two plays this year and has looked fantastic doing it. If he is going out this year we need to make full use of him.

Wiggins. If he can get him down, which I think he can, he can hold him up and help will come in.

I am not sure who can shadow Miller but i know they cant cover Sammy or Martavis if the Spartans went deep on them!

a LB has to sit...

it's pick your poison...
if you take a LB out of the equation (which is what you should do to stop Braxton Miller) and bring in an extra safety (and agree it should be Korin Wiggins)...then Carlos Hyde will be unstoppable and demoralizing to our D...
if you leave the lineup the same, agree that shuey albeit a solid tackler just doesn't have the closing speed to get to Braxton...
Best solution: - shuey sits - Vic Beasley plays a OLB/DE hybrid (prob his role in NFL) - Shaq Lawson starts oppose Corey Crawford - Stephone Anthony, Christian, T-Stew, BJ Goodson are all quick enough to stay with Braxton but thick enough to at least try to slow Hyde

that with a spy.
You put a spy in when you are worried about the qb that drops back for a pass then tucks and runs.

Wiggins or Kearse

Is definitely fast enough to do it, but since Blanks is out, I'd put my money on Wiggins. He'll be a great in a couple years. Our DL can handle Hyde so no worries there, but we must play press man and contain the edges with B Miller. A blueprint of what MSU and UM did would fare well for us. We have the talent and personnel to get it done with a month to prepare.

I think that's our best bet. I'm sure Kearse will grow into a LB anyways so he could spy him and play that spy. He's already pretty big for a safety and pretty dang quick.
