I personally hate ANY uniform changes during a season. Most teams wearing throwbacks or unique uniforms make mistakes because of that split second indecision caused by the unfamiliar. You get used to having a recognizable teammate in those colors and I believe it makes a difference.

i don't think i would mind the white helmet w/ orange paw to go with our all white uni's for a special game like this.besides, the all purple uni's are my least favorite of any uni combo we have.

Dabo seems to keep the solid orange for special games. It's good to see it every so often

I would like to see the purple replaced with black and the marketing department market the stripe, (more than the paw) as I think the stripe promotes Clemson's military heritage and Clemson's unique tradition of running down the hill, and is therefore a better way to market Clemson than the paw.
Solid white helmets with a black stripe down the middle only, and orange paws for accomplishment stickers are my choice.
Using more white would attract less heat (for the players/fans in the hotter months) and they/we could use orange jerseys/polos with black numbers, collars, and sleeves (home) and white jerseys/polos with black numbers collars/sleeves (away)
They could even create black uniforms for ACC championship games (as it is cooler then) as an incentive for the players.
I'm already starting to replace the paw with this logo. (with the bottom orange and a black stripe instead)
1 Clemson.

The PAW isn't marketable? It's one of the most recognizable logos in college athletics. It's unique and represents Clemson well.
As for black, I am not a fan of black unless it is part of your school colors. MAYBE, HUGE MAYBE for a Military Appreciation Day can I see a school without black in their color scheme breaking out something special, but I agree with a comment above: keep it the same so the players know who they're hitting, throwing to, etc.
I personally wouldn't mind seeing the white helmets for a special away game, but I HATE the all purple.

I agree that the paw is marketable.
I just think the stripe markets Clemson better, considering the military heritage, unique tradition of running down the hill, tiger mascot, etc.
The logo I presented also creates a 1 which fits in with Dabo's "Best is the standard" concept and Barker's One Clemson campaign.

I like the Purple Jerseys, I like the Purple Pants, but...

I don't like them together.
Purple Jerseys / Orange Pants, or Purple Jerseys / White Pants is a cool alternate to wear like once a year.
For road games, I don't mind the White Jerseys / Purple pants, again, it's a cool change up to do like once a year, or once every other year.
Having said that, I don't like the All Purple look. It's too much.
