We we're pre-season 14th in the ACC

We were 2 games away from the ACC championship game and we lost a close to an NCAA tournament caliber team, without one of our best scorers. This season was a success and it should help our recruiting as well. GO Tigers

Every game you play is important if you're a winner.

Doesn't matter what tournament you're playing in. That mentality molds losers.

Actually never said I want him fired, but it should absolutely be given some thought if we don't make the NCAA tourney next year.
You can't just point out the fact that we were picked to finish 14th without at least acknowledging that the guy in charge didn't exactly come right off the streets.

Preseason 14th

You can say that all you want, but first answer the question of why we were picked to finish 2nd to last in our coaches 4th year?
Yeah, we exceeded expectations this year, but he has under performed thus far in his Clemson tenure.
These are both facts and pretty indisputable. He controls everything in this program and has for a full class now, so spare me the lack of talent and transfer arguments.

Keep talking 117, you prove yourself to be an idiot far more often than me. Blind homerism is just as bad as you commenting on every single negative post, every single day.
I come here to vent, you come here to pick fights and spew blind faith. Let's call it what it is, he's had an average tenure here at best and next year us time to put up or shut up. And that 100% applies to your annoying ### 117

Had OP won a game or 2 in the NCAA, that would have definitely met them.
I think a tournament win or 2 every 4 years with 2 appearances isn't too much to ask.
Btw, I'm not saying he's a bum. He's done a decent job and possibly above average given the circumstances.
Some people on here act like he is above criticism, which is just crazy to me!!!!

So you'd have to go back to the Barnes era to be happy

with b-ball. Even with the number of wins that OP had I don't feel he ever built a program. He won with athletes not basketball players. Brownell is taking athletes and turning them into basketball players. McDaniel's has gone from a 3* recruit with no other ACC offers to Defensive player of the year and 1st team All-ACC. Brownell is building the foundation of a consistently successful program. Just look at the improvement of guys like Nnoko and our free throw shooting. I'm willing to bet b-ball recruiting at Clemson ain't a walk in the park. The success of K.J. and the program overall will start attracting more talent.

Yes I am the idiot who just said Brad has had 4 full classes when we have Zero seniors due to him coming on LATE in the recruiting process due to your boy OP leaving town in the middle of the night without even having the guts to tell his players.

Including the garbage facilities and token support our administration has given basketball since....well, forever?
IMO Brownell has done one hell of a job considering he goes into every season with one hand tied behind his back and wearing a ball and chain.
