We need to open up some daylight between us and BC

FSU beat them 14-0. We need to beat them by 30+ if possible. Our offense needs to be clicking on all cylinders like a well-oiled machine. I know they have a great D and respect that but we have to also prove we have an elite team bound for the playoffs.

This ACC conference power of schedule and all is scary and detrimental to us. Have I ever told you how much I hate the ACC?

it but Clemson fans came through and did not let Death Valley be flat like it was at times during the Bowden regime.

AThomas, I agree, I hate the ACC. I feel like we get no "bump" from being a member of the weakest conference. We are forced to run the table with no room for error if we want to have a chance at a playoff spot. Before you ACC apologists attack, I understand we have an easier path but that is questionable, IMO.

I don't think we necessarily need to win by 30+; we just need to win convincingly. I'd be perfectly content with a 24-3 victory and I certainly don't think that that would hurt us in the rankings. Their d is going to be a great test for our offense (and our offense is going to be a great test for their d). Just gotta keep winning.

BC can't throw and our run defense has been incredible so

far this year. Barring things like special teams mistakes, i think we will have BC pinned back a lot in this game and that should translate to an edge in field position.
