She said starting Trevor over KB was racist of Dabo, with a smile ??. Look at who Dabo starts at QB (or anywhere), it’s always the best player for the team.
Kelly was sandwiched between Trevor and DW4. Going to Missouri was the right move. Cole Stoudt got sandwiched between Taj and DW4. A tough spot. He finally showed his best game in his last game against Oklahoma!

He Could Have Been a GA at Clemson...

Had he stayed and been a supportive teammate Dabo would have let him come back as a GA once his pro career is at the point it is now and started a career as a coach as once option. I doubt if those Clemson coattails will be available for KB.

to say he played 4 years at Clemson is stretching it a bit. It's too bad he left hurt and disappointed but it also showed the coaches made the right decision as far as starter

His side? That he was a junior who couldn’t throw the deep ball and got beat out by freshman who could, and took his ball and went home?

Here's his side of the story in 17 led the tigers to the playoff not his fault ray ray and Deon couldn't catch covid in Wuhan. In 18 we don't leave college station with a win without him. BUT he ran first throws high, and showed little emotional or outright maturity leaving the very second the starting job went to some one else "for that week", thus he made Chase Brice a legend so I'm cool with it

Correction, he was a “Missouri” Tiger QB not a Clemson QB!

Should have switched to receiver or safety. He was never good enough to turn pro as a QB, but a great athlete. I wish he had showed more class after losing his starting position to Trevor.

I was hoping he would cross train to a different position but his ego did not allow for that. He was NEVER good enough throwing the ball to be in the NFL, but he was certainly athletic enough to be.

C’mon Tony Crumpton®! Pretty sure everybody knows what Kelly Bryant did at Clemson and Missouri - yet you mention zilch about what he did with the Argonauts, if there were any team comments/explanations, if he had anything to say (did you reach out to him or his agent?), etc.
Oh well - hate it for him just the same. He was a great competitor played well for us, and bided his time as a backup. I know some will hold it against him for transferring, but not me.

His transferring probably would not have ...

... bothered too many people ... it was HOW he did it ... bad-mouthing the coaches and team. He burned the Clemson fanbase bridge and he 'may' look back on that someday and regret it.
I always wished him well at Missouri and he started great ... something like 7 for 7 to start the game and then the pressure got to him. I don't think he finished the season as the starting QB for them.
Not only did he handle his exit very immaturely IMO, but it even showed in his first game at Missouri. The network "tried" to interview him at halftime and he was yukking it up with a teammate, and trying to be too funny with the broadcasters - they couldn't get a coherent answer to any of their questions and cut the interview short. Not a good look for the player or his new team.
At the end of that game, it looked like one of the Missouri coaches had gotten in Kelly's ear and escorted him to a post-game interview and he sounded a whole lot better and more mature.
I know sometimes players need a fresh start and don't begrudge anyone for that, but the way he left Clemson was very unfortunate.
