I don’t think you’re quite ready for the NFL. If you were you wouldn’t have a doubt. Come back, you and Mafah have an excellent year and then you’ll know!

I think that if he stops wearing those headphones over his eyes, he will be able to see the field better.
Might even be able to see the holes open in the line and not ram into the backs of the linemen. Expect somebody to help him out a bit, so that he can produce at the level we all know he is capable of. I agree with Dabo - that he has 1st round potential that he has not reached.

I like the fact that he gave an honest answer. I sure would love to see him as a Tiger one more year.

With NIL money, it would be a no brainer for me. But then again, I had the total

college experience, and would not wish for ANYONE to short themselves of it. Sometimes, a high projected draft position will make that decision tough. Unfortunately for Will, with the total devaluation of the running back position in the draft, he probably wasn't ever going to get a really high grade.

He wouldn’t be struggling with decision if he had a high draft grade. Or anticipated a high grade. He needs to come back and show good ball security. Backs with fumbleitis don’t fare well in the league.

I to would like to see both guys back, Ship and Mafah, with Matt Luke at the helm of the OL.

To me at least, he is a young man with character. We all had to make decisions that changed our lives when we were young men. He is and always will be a Clemson Tiger!

going to the NFL as a mid-round pick with the hope of making a roster, or returning to Clemson and splitting carries with Mafah (and possibly being option #2, rather than option #1 as he has been).
That's a tough decision. He's a talented guy and I appreciate all he's done for us regardless.

Does he have his degree? If not, I’d def come back and get that. They say RBs in the NFL have a short shelf life so the degree is definitely a need. I believe he’d do well in the NFL, bu the should still return.

He graduated this month. That's why he was allowed to run down with the seniors. Idk, Dabo is the eternal optimist. Does he have first round potential? It was tough for Travis to go late first round. Just so many good backs. Imo, what's really going to hurt him is the lack of breakaway speed and he's not a superb blocker. I guess he could learn to be a better blocker but his speed is what it is. I just hope a trusted NFL scout is shooting him straight and being honest whether coming back would help.

He could potentially double the size of his rookie deal

if he comes back and proves he can cut down on the fumbles. Very costly bad habit he needs to kick.

I think Shipley is a cast member in another Tron remake based off of the attached picture.

He seemed to be answering honestly to a media question. I don't believe it was for seeking attention. I hope he comes back.

I think if he comes back and can show off with an Oline that should be drastically improved and year two under Garret Rylie's scheme that he will put an exclamation mark on his career.
The Oline he had this past year didn't help him to shine like he deserved. With a new coach I think it will improve his stick ten folds.

Overall I like Shipley and appreciated his fire/energy. With that being said, I’m ready for the next wave in the backfield. I’d like to see Haynes get some more touches, and also like to see what Ezio can do.

Respect. Let's not forget what Ship has done for us, even if this year was not pretty by #'s, and what the results behind those hits he has taken toll on his body. The fact that he's even thinking about coming back is more than we can be grateful for. I bet you my hat he follows Coach Spiller...
He is true Clemson Man.
