is with baseball. People are talking about basketball and Brownell needing to go.
He took over a train wreck. Sure they went to the NCAA tournament in that run with OP, but he also stopped recruiting, and that's why we had no leadership on this team. The guys also weren't going to class, a big reason for a couple of the transfers.
And he has had two recruiting classes come in.
Leggett, on the other hand, has overseen a steady decline of our program: Terrible coaching decisions in-game, terrible fundamentals at the plate, on the mound, in the field and on the basepaths.
Tonight's game was a microcosm of Leggett's recent tenure with this program. And he needs to go after this year.
It is time.

Can't beat any good teams or win close games. Overthinks and overmanages and has his players too tight.
Hopefully our new AD will recognize the time is coming for a change.

Yep...but we need to bring in someone who is able to leave well enough alone. It is not just Leggett that struggles with this. Many other coaches over manage and often times it is based on strict pitch counts. We need someone who will be willing to let our pitchers go the full nine. IMO Tanner (who some will say was on the opposite end of what Leggett does and abused pitchers' arms)did a good job of this at South Carolina and look where it got them...3 straight NC game appearances.

R u Kidding me? Brownell took over a train wreck? how about brownell took over a team that went to the tourney 3 years in a row before he got here. then they went his first year because of purnells players and have gone down hill since then. do you know anything? Leggit made it to the final four in baseball 3 years ago. as long as you make it in the playoffs in baseball anything can happen. atleast we are making it there. Legget is a good coach and you my friend are an idiot
