Bama failed drug tests

@davidhood, any word on the rumored Bama players that failed their drug tests, and the result of appeals?

Appeals won't be settled till after the game.

Do you mind telling me what you heard? I wasn't aware of any failed drug tests. Tony Brown was sent home from the Cotton bowl and is suspended indefinitely so he may not play.

After the Clemson players were sent home, the rumors around the playoff were that Bama and OU also had players fail the tests but were appealing the results. Shortly after that rumor started, Bama sent that guy home and I assumed it was drug test.

Got ya. They never disclosed the reason and just said "violation of team rules" so I wouldn't be surprised. The word spreading around our fan base was he got into a little fight with a defensive line player during practice and was a distraction/negative attitude. I also heard he brought a girl back to his room one night and was called out by team leadership but I don't know
