will help me out, but....
isn't the joke about the coots good three season stretch that we had a good record but didn't really beat anybody and managed to miss a great opportunity to win a title of some sort and went to a mid-tier bowl gane and all we could really brag about was beating our instate rival which nobody nationally cares about?
so.....

If ur referring to this season, it wasn't really that great... The most positive accomplishments were beating the chicken SH** out of you and having the number 1 D.
If you are referring to the run we are about to make, well it's not over yet.
If you are referring to the fact that we've had a good record for the past few years, we do have an ACC title and a BCS win.

You don't see Tiger fans celebrating the year we just had. Our players aren't getting rings for it. We care about beating the coots, but we care about championships (plural, not just the lone banner y'all display proudly). Oh and our recent recruiting would suggest that this is just the start of a long run.

You hit the nail on the head...We're sitting at 9-3 with a chance at 10-3 and I'm feeling disappointed overall about our season because there will be no championship or BCS trophy in the case when it's all said and done.
If we were coots, we'd be ordering third place rings and making up things to put banners up for.
But like you said, this is only the beginning of a long stretch of better things to come.
