Wonder if he would like to help with coaching running backs as a guest. CJ could coach the lightening and Flagler could show some thunder. He looks like he could still play.

My favorite away game that I ever attended was at UGA in 1986, I was in my mid 20’s and sat in the middle of the UGA section with my best friend. I bought an extremely expensive scalped ticket for $35 😁 and loved watching Flowers and Flagler that day. David Treadwell hit a FG with like 3 seconds left on the clock to win that game. I was also at the one at UGA in 1984 when that xxxn UGA kicker hit a last second FG from what seemed like 70 yards so this 1986 game was sweet payback. Flagler is one of my all time favorite Clemson running backs, check it out.

Flowers was drafted by the Falcons and Flagler was drafted by the 49’s.

Flowers was set to start as a rookie and blew out his knee. Never recovered. One of the smoothest fastest, hardest hitting RBs Cleamon ever had. Like a big Terry Allen. He ate up UGa in that '86 game

Flagler had a respectable career with the 49ers. Wasn't big enough to be an every down back. And they had Roger Craig, who was.

I think his Dad was a pastor. He had a great spin move. By the way, their kicker named Butler kicked a 63 yard FG to beat us with time running out. Flagler and Flowers were a real duo. If you go back and look at Fords O lines they came off the line like they were dhot out of a cannon.
