"red flags" the coaches uncovered. I heard this from a friend but I cannot find anything about it anywhere.

cash payments, please consider how broad the term "red flag" can be. It could just be a red flag that he is leaning very heavily to UCLA or some other school. Not every recruit that does a 180 is into underhanded dealings.
