UGA In deep doo doo with Smart

I live in Ga so I deal with a lot of Uga folks and watch their program a little bit so I've tried to keep an open mind as far as the whole M.Richt needed the axe didn't deserve it scenario ad nauseum.But after watching them this year and watching Kirby ,what a downgrade in all areas CMR>CKS. Bad for them good for us!Good times to be a Tiger.No way Trevor Lawrence signs with that crew.

I'd be careful about diagnosing this one too quick. Richt was lifeless and didn't relate to the players, the kids in Athens love Kirby and playing for him. No one expected them to have a good year, everyone just got all excited after they stomped UNC and Chubb ran for 222. But everybody knows you can't line up and just run it every game, especially against physical competition and big D lines. Hard to count on 5'8 receivers.
I remember when Venables first got to Clemson and our DB's were 5'9 and 5'10. Took him a minute to get his guys, but it all took off when he did. Considering how bad the SEC East is, it wouldn't surprise me to see UGA back in Atlanta, especially if you keep up with recruiting and watch kids highlight tapes

Richt left Kirby with huge holes in the offensive line and WR. We are starting true freshmen all over the field, including at the all important QB position. Have you seen Smarts 2017 recruiting class? Should finish in the top 5.The 2016 was top 10. It is doubtful it will take Kirby more than a couple of classes to reload our areas of need. I certainly expect him to do it faster than say ....Dabo....which took 6-7 years. Not seeing how this is some sort of advantage for CU....it's not as if Dabo's ###### our state in recruiting. Smart has as good shot at Lawrence as anyone.

season and made the title game in his 7th season. How many years does it typically take an UGA coach to make the playoff/BCS title game?
Dabo has never fielded a team as bad as this year's UGA team. You are currently 63rd in the F/+ combined rankings on Football Outsiders. Dabo has never had a team finish outside of the top 30. Even his 6-7 team in 2010 finished 29th. And i don't care what you say about the "holes" that Richt left for Smart, UGA signs a top 10 recruiting class annually and Smart certainly inherited more than Dabo.

Kirby high and dry? Try to come up with something that makes a little sense. Ga has done less with more than any school I know. Keep searching.

Richt left smart with some holes to fill, and he's trying to implement his system/style. If they don't improve vastly next year then they may be in trouble, but it's too soon to tell IMO.
