perfect storm

I am really concerned of a perfect storm happening for Clemson football. With no AD, our DC gone, and our OC almost gone, there are the rumors of Dabo going to the Raiders. How quickly can the school react with no AD to find a new head coach, DC and OC. With the transfer portal being as it is, this could effect us for years to come. What do you think?

haven't seen any announcement about the AD yet or the OC for that matter and seriously doubt Dabo is going to coach any pro football team so no perfect storm yet more like a tempest in a teapot lol

Let's have some more rumors. Maybe some of our so called "Clemson Fans" will get in the transfer portal. Don't let the toilet lid hit you on the head on your way down. Dabo, it looks good when other teams steal your toys. Go Tigers.

If Dabo was to go to the Raiders...that would be one of the dumbest coaching moves ever!!
Dabo is a GREAT college coach. College football players are VERY different than Professional football players. The same coaching techniques do not work for pros vs college. Would be such a poor decision I do not think thats a rumor with any legit basis beyond LV having several Clemson players on the team.

Most TNetters don’t let the facts get in the way of rampant speculation.

Dabo is the one loss that would be hard to recover from.

He is, as the press sometimes derogatorily points out, a unique personality in the world of college football. And, with the advent of all this NIL stuff, along with the headaches of having to deal with the transfer portal, him bolting for the Raiders is not NEARLY as farfetched an idea as it would have been in the past. In fact, instead of having to essentially recreate his culture all over again with new coaches here, it might even be the easier path. A stint in the NFL, successful or not, would not hurt his value as a college coach, were he to then come back into college coaching.

I don’t think Dabo is in LV for reasons already reported (seeing former players and staying to support CJ) but let’s just see your thoughts out and explore some “off the top” options.
1.) bring in the Coastal Staff. HC, OC, and heck maybe a transfer or 2 comes in. I’m not sure about their DC, someone else will have to let me know if he’s good or not.
2.) hire from outside. Clemson is a big name in CFB right now. It shouldn’t be difficult to find people to come in, especially if you’re willing to pay.
3.) fill all positions from within. There’s still some smart guys and great recruiters on staff.
Now the most likely of these scenarios is probably a combination of 2 and 3, but option 1 is still very interesting to see. Either way, we’ll be fine. All of this is assuming doomsday is upon us, and it just isn’t (as much as the media and opposing fans would like it to be and WILL talk about it that way.)
Relax, Clemson b is okay.

Sorry, I meant to say I don’t think he’s in LV for other reasons than the ones already reported.
