Parking Passes for BOA Stadium / ParkWhiz?

Hello,

I noticed on the Park Whiz website that all of the lots for the ACC championship game say "opens at 4:00PM"

Does anyone know if that is actually true? If so, that would be a big issue as our group would like to start tailgating around noon.

I don't see why that would be true as there shouldn't be any other big events in Charlotte earlier that day.

the 4PM thing doesnt make sense because they have concerts and other activities throughout the day...

and traffic sucked....no one thinks about parking they just think let's build a stadium around a bunch of buildings...

fun watching hokies go down in flames though

It is because they are all office buildings. The parking contracts require them to be available for the usual parkers

That shouldn't apply on Saturday though. Most of the big banks aren't open on Saturday (I would assume).

Uptown Charlotte is usually DEAD on the weekends except for special events like Panthers games.

I went ahead and purchased mine on Mint Street. I'm hoping they just put the 4pm thing on just to cover their butts. I figure the worst that could happen is I show up and park and they come at 4 and ask for my receipt.
It's a empty parking lot with no gates. I drive by it daily on my way to work.
No being sure doesn't help I know......

We used parkwhiz last time there. Don't worry about the time. We arrived early for the acc game and a pro playoff game. At least by 12. No problem getting in. WE parked in a garage, drove to the top deck, and tailgated like we was at Clemson. Tent up and flags.
