Our athletic dept. needs to file a complaint with the ACC

Oct 16, 2016, 11:54 AM

officiating office about some of the horrible officiating we have had to deal with this year. That hit on Gallman was the very definition of targeting. And how many holding penalties did NC State get away with yesterday. I know State had a lot of penalties, but they were almost all false starts, an easy call for the official. I think the officials knew State would have a lot of penalties due to the multiple false starts and decided it would look too lopsided if they called the judgement calls like pass interference and holding. Just ridiculous that State got away with murder with the officials all day.

I asked the question earlier and got no response from you guys but I was at the game and the right tackle moved and raised his left arm before every snap. Isn't that a penalty?

As much as I love Clemson they got away with an obvious holding call also. Bad officiating all way around. I feel the D line shifting led to False starts too.

They even let 2 off sides penaties go.

Holding and PI are judgement calls, but how did the whole nation see their OT off sides at least twice and there's a no call ?

I agree, especially about the targeting on Gallman. I couldn't believe no one was saying anything. On the replay it was obviously helmet to helmet.
Even the announcers spoke out about the non-holding calls. On one play, the NCST player was holding our pass rushers jersey to keep him from tackling the NCST QB and the camera was right on it. It was ridiculous! They were holding on nearly every play.

I sit in section S right above where the visiting team enters and exits the field. Coming out after halftime, Doeren was working a side judge walking to the field. Lots of penalties were not called yesterday, I agree.

This is a bit of a reach, good lord! We get bad calls and the other team get bad calls! It goes both ways dude. To ask for the AD to start investigating? Are you serious lol. Everyone was telling Louisville fans to shut up about the yard marker, and the Ben and Jackson incident. You should do the same about the hit. Gallman braced for it and he fumbled. Good hit IMHO. Every OLine holds as well, you just gotta look at it as the holding calls go both ways.

Disagree. That was not a good hit on Gallman. Not even close. You need to look at the slow motion replay again.

"This year" !?!?!?!

Oct 16, 2016, 12:45 PM

ACC officiating has been among the worst in the country if not the worst for decades.

Sometimes good things fall apart so better things can fall together.

those guys were horrible, especially choosing not to enforce holding.

Best Is The Standard

Ugh, nothing like fans that complain about holding not getting called.

Oct 16, 2016, 1:10 PM

Some state fans are probably saying the same thing on their board.
