He withdrew from the Memorial Tournament with a back injury. Apparently, he is still recovering.

At this point it’s probably in his best interests to remain out the rest of this season and then play on a minor medical exemption next year.

First round in the books. She ended in a 10 way tie for 10th. Not bad considering only 3 in the afternoon scored better. Leaders finished -5. So, good position for tomorrow.
Meanwhile at the KFT, Carson opened with a double bogey, made 5 birdies to somewhat get back in it but sadly closed with a bogey, double bogey to drop to even on the round. In all likelihood, he's going to miss another cut. They're firing darts and wouldn't be surprised if -5 only gets you top 30. He's already dropped out of the top 25. He needed a really good finish as the clock is winding down.

Kudos to Lauren Stephenson and her partner for shooting another -4 Round today . . . They sit @-8 and are currently T-10th Place
Grewal and Pancake are just now getting started and are already -2 after 4 holes and are currently T-43rd Place

Oh so close. Cut kept moving on savanna and Annabelle. Tip of the cap, they gave it a wonderful run.

Solid rounds today by Jacob (-2) and Sam (-4) but they both have a tough row to hoe tomorrow to make the Cut . . . Carson has even more ground to make up . . . but . . . it’s golf and strange things do happen . . .
I’ll throw something up here when our guys out west @ the Barracuda Championship finish their opening rounds . . .

Remember this is a Modified Stableford Scoring Event . . .
Double Eagle (Albatross) = +8
Eagle = +5
Birdie = +2
Par = 0
Bogey = -1
Double Bogey or worse = -3
Highest Score Wins!!!

Hard to believe none of our guys even came close to making the cut. Ben will probably be the only one that finishes in + territory as he finished +3. All 4 will be below 100th place.
Doc and JB missing the cut will most likely drop both further away from the 125 fed ex race. Lucas may even drop a couple notches and all our former Tigers could need a really high finish in the next 2 weeks.
Let's pull for Sam to have a stellar weekend. Alice had a horrible 2nd round and dropped from t6 to t41... Ouch.
Kuddos to Alice for eagling the 17th hole to make the cut. She was +5 on the round.
Yep, I've got the sads. Apologies, wish I had more positive energy.

Jacob couldn't get it going. Made enough birdies but gave too many back. So I wouldn't say Jacob had a solid round. Semantics I suppose. Especially the par 3's. He's got to have a top 10 at least next week or he'll miss the 75. So dissapointing because I was sold he'd take it by storm. Oh well.
Carson needs to get going.
Sam did good recovering..

was indeed painful and frustrating . . .
The only bright spots were Sam making the Cut in the KF Event . . . Lauren Stephenson’s showing in the LPGA Event (T-8th) . . . and as you said, Alice’s eagle to make the Cut . . .
Good thing the Open is playing and MfO’s pick is hanging around the top . . .
Painful and Frustrating . . . Yep . . . that sounds like a poorly played round of golf for sure . . . I hope the beer was cold and they enjoyed their friends, as that is oftentimes the salvation of my efforts!!!
