Playoff Chances?

Which team’s loss benefits us more?
Penn State vs Ohio State

I would say doesn’t matter which
Pencil in a spot for each of they are undefeated or 1 loss

Not in this order
1. SEC Champion Bama or Ga
2. ACC Champion Miami or Clemson
3. Big 10 Champion (Wisconsin only if undefeated), Ohio State, Penn State

4. could be a undefeated TCU, 1 loss Oklahoma, 1 loss Georgia, 1 Loss Notre Dame, 1 loss Miami, 1 loss Washington

Too much football to predict

The Big 10 doesn't deserve a spot, regardless if they are still undefeated. After their arrogant trash talk the last 2 years and then getting shut out both of those years, they should be placed on a penalty.

I'm good enough, I'm smart enough, and doggone it, people like me.

I would say we want Penn State to win out...you don't want two Big 10 teams with one loss who could potentially get in over us. A Penn State win this weekend would give OSU two loses and effectively knock them out of contention for a spot.

My thought exactly

Pull for Penn State

Oct 24, 2017, 3:22 PM

a 2nd loss completely eliminates Ohio State and gets rid of the possibility of trying to sneak in both OSU and PSU

I think if we win out we are in no matter what. 12-1 league champ and defending National Champ gets us in.

I hope OSU wins simply because I am going to the Penn State/Michigan State game and am hoping it is an afternoon game so I can watch us beat NC State later that evening. But I'm selfish like that...

I’d have to go with an Ohio State loss to benefit us the most. One of them is getting into the final four, may as well stick with the undefeated one. Also we have the same record as Ohio State currently and they are ranked ahead of us and definitely have a better remaining schedule over us. If they lose, they’re all but out.
