Sounds like the QB battle is going to get real interesting. Already talking about Hunter and Zerrick. GO TIGERS!!!

I mean, if Bryant is the starter going into the Spring....OF COURSE there's not going to be a lot of separation. Its up for grabs with Cooper or Johnson "the more than likely" starter by kickoff.

Exactly, not all teams have that kind of comfort and have to go with what they've got, and that sometimes isn't that good. Tajh Boyd's skill was recognized around the country, then came DW4, and with that kind of QB talent coming to Clemson, other talented QB's wanted to be a part of what was going on at Clemson with us running the spread option offense. A version of the spread option is what a lot of HS offenses are based on, and HS QB's feel that they have a leg up by coming to Clemson bc of our offense. But now when we look around, an awful lot of colleges have shifted from the pound it up the middle run offense to the spread option. With us being as loaded as we are with spread option type QB's, other schools are bringing in very good spread option type QB's. For us to continue to bring in the top QB's, it's a must that our coaches play the best that we have to keep our winning percentages at a high level, or the next DW4 may end up playing for our rivals. As the saying goes, steal sharpens steal, and the best will bring the best!!!

That's a pretty good analogy. Thanks for sharing.

I fully expect there not to be much drop off this year vs last year. I think we reload agai, and I think we will be solid, no matter which of our very gifted QB's get the nod.

Bryant being a JR and knowing the Offense should be separating. This means talent is keeping him locked up with the other QBs.

But that's a good thing isn't it. To all QB's that believe you are going to be great, come to Clemson, you will get a chance to be great, and the chance to be the #1 starting QB at Clemson, just bring your best to the practice field everyday!!!

Nice to hear a coach say that some of our offense depends on who is at quarterback. Morris was good, but he was stubborn and too stuck on his system to change when DW4 got hurt.

Deon Cain and Kelly Bryant both played QB in High School

One is going to play in the NFL and make Sammy-type money
unless he forgets the lessons that Martavious Bryant is teaching right now.
One got some good advice from High School and prospective Collegiate coaches,
and most importantly, listened.

If there isn't a lot of separation in the 4 QB's, is that a good thing?
Hunter is brand new, Tucker had limited time last season as did Kelly and Zerrick redshirted and hasn't seen any playing time.

Everyone needs to stay focused because nothing is etched in stone. Even if there was separation Scott wouldn't admit it with our current situation.

That's not really saying much for Bryant

He's the veteran and knows the offense well...that alone should give a clear cut advantage. Something tells me that when these guys get in rythem, it will be a 2 man race for QB

Didn't see Tucker Israel mentioned. I guess these other three have separated themselves from him.
