More worried about aTm than Vandy

Jan 18, 2014, 8:56 AM

I see in my crystal ball that Chad will end up at aTm in 2 years. Which is good for us the next 2 years.

I can't see Sumlin being able to keep his job once Manziel leaves. The only way they were relevant was because of his freakishly good play. The aTm defense was terrible and Manziel would keep them winning by outscoring opponents.

Now that he is gone their offense will slow down and their defense will stay the same. That is recipe for a 4-8 season. 2 of those in a row and Sumlin will be toast.

Then Chads buyout will be lower and he will be homeward bound.

Chad may even leave for a mid major after next year before that too. But it looks to me he will be here next year

Its great that CM is going to be here at least one more year. But Clemson will not fold up if he ever leaves.

you should want him to get a good job when he leaves and for him to succeed.

Valid point.

However, the gator nation is restless, and I would not be surprised if Muschamp has a very short window for success this upcoming year.

The Chad could find himself in the enviable position of candidate for UF. Remember, Chad's recruiting has primarily been focused in Southeast for 3 years, and not in Texas. Contacts and ties become diminished over time.

While I would imagine he would want to return to his alma mater, the lure of UF may be too much to discount.

But for now we are fortunate to have both he and his family with us for whatever time we have. Go Tigers!

Fla will not offer CM a head coach job.
