Homer; all the evidence states otherwise.
I liked when Greg McElroywas trying to talk up the all the returning SEC QBs as an edge for them this year, where as it was clearly an ACC edge last season and Joey Galloway noted that returning players that were not so good doesn't mean it's a positive. Lol

How does he explain the SEC bowl record against the ACC.

He doesn't. He just says the SEC is more deep. No away cake walk game in the SEC, like Rutgers, while claiming the B1G is the only conference with a third national champion contender: OSU, Penn St, and Michigan. Paul said no to Michigan. Spears tried to say U of L would be 9th in the SEC. Just because those scrub teams can't beat each other handily on the road does not make his claim legit. Bama was the only team, period.

They're 2-10 against the ACC in the " final 4 " matchups over the last 3 years . How do they compensate ? Call them " bad matchups " .

On Rivalry Week for ACC-SEC match-ups for the past 3 years, the SEC has managed for Vandy to beat Wake, and UK to beat UL, and UGA to beat GT - and that is only THREE GAMES OUT OF TWELVE. The SEC just plain sucks it, but they're too dumb to know it. Does anyone on their staff not ever look at conference match-ups? They are just plain stupid IMO.

You also fail to mention alot of those matchups are the top tier of our conference against the middle of the pack/lower tier or the SEC. Wish we'd get a conference matchup week where we take the best teams from last year and match them then to down the list from there.

Went to school at LSU, played for the Dallas Cowboys. Probably has never visited any state that didn't border the Gulf of Mexico unless it was directly football related. Works at ESPN now for cheap money since they let the real talents go. These are all on the resume of someone that, beyond a shadow of a doubt, would be nothing more than a SEC homer.
Anything this guy says to hype up the SEC should be taken with a grain of salt. ESPN already dumped Danny Kanell for being an ACC guy. Watch Herbie be next.
