Stay in Anderson or Seneca for game on Saturday??

Hello Clemson fans - was hoping for a little advice on where to stay this weekend. I made the trip to Clemson for the Louisville game in 2014 and had the best roadtrip experience that I ever have. The atmosphere and people were second to none. Needless to say - I swore I'd never miss again and we are coming that way on Friday. I have a hotel room booked in Anderson (about 12 miles from stadium) and one booked in the Seneca area (about 9 miles from stadium). I am all about ease, but wanted to hear from the experts as to the pros and cons of each. Will be tailgating at the Snow Family Rec Facility/Beaches area as we did last time.
Any tips - good bad or indifferent will be appreciated. Thank you all for great hospitality before, and looking forward to another awesome trip and fun game !!!

Easier to get to Seneca post game if you know where you're going imo

Thank you for the response. So far it's a Seneca landslide. Anderson served it's purposes last time, but may have to make the Seneca choice this time around. Thanks again and can't wait !!!

parking area, so I'd suggest staying in Seneca for ease of/lighter traffic.
You'll get stuck in all the traffic heading to Anderson after the game.

Thank you !!! We actually stayed in Anderson last trip and it was fine. But looking at maps and knowing the traffic a bit - maybe Seneca will be a better option. Most time we spent was at tailgate, campus near the stadium and Esso Club. Seems to make sense. Thank you for the input !!!

I'll second Seneca being easier to get to post game. I lived in Seneca every year I lived off campus and still come in from and leave in that direction. So much easier to manage getting to and from the game as long as you can get yourself in position in traffic to make the turn from perimeter rd onto cherry towards the gold course.
I do know all the back roads though, so it'll probably be helpful to have google maps handy and/or check out a map ahead of time. I'd suggest avoiding 123 near campus.
Glad you enjoyed your visit so much last time! You're in for a treat this time - Death Valley is electric at night!

Yes - Seneca appears to be an easier route. I recall trying to take back roads back to Anderson last trip and got royally lost. Thank you for the input

Seneca is a much better option for less traffic. Not saying

you won't see any traffic, but you won't deal with the majority of the fanbase coming from GSP and upstate which is coming from the same direction as Anderson.

Seneca... It's super closer to Clemson then Anderson. You'll run into a traffic jam on Gameday coming from Anderson. You can get to Clemson from Seneca in 5 mins if you know where you're going
