California or Texas?

This is the best example of a Liberal economy vs. a Conservative economy you could find. Why do we want the rest of the country to follow California?

Bay Area contribute to this? Plus, Texans just don't move as much because, well, "Don't Mess With Texas..." blahblahblah. Plus the per capita income in SF is much higher than San Antonio so, people actually have the means to move. Also, more people in Texas have roots in Texas opposed to California.

I'd love to live in SF. I wouldn't want to live in San Antonio. I would like to live in Austin though.

I think the U haul bit is not the main point. Did you even read past the first 3 paragraphs? The main point is to show the differences between the 2 economies.

let's not leave out the fact that California recently suffered through 8 years of a republican governor, so the entire argument can not be blamed on 2 years of California having a democrat in office since 2011 Our fiscal situation was pretty good until the terminator took office in 2003.

you can also do extremely well in Cali if you have a solid education, a brain, and a skill set that caters to the many business sectors that are booming out here.

In Texas, a good set of boots and a ten gallon hat moves you to the front of the line. In Cali that gets you a job involving duct tape and carrying heavy objects.
