It's my 25th aniversary of my last Final...

I can remember the weight of the world as I walked out of Lowry for the last time and back to my apartment to load my car, just finishing my last exam at Clemson. Excited, relieved and nervous of what was to come.
Feels like it was yesterday but also feels like it was 50 years ago at the same time.

Just be glad you don't have to retake them every 10 years to maintain your degree.

Then followed that with two 9hr/6wk summer sessions. I woke up shaking over the stress of finals for 15 years.

That I forgot about going to a particular class for an entire semester and I'm trying to find the classroom to take the final exam. I wake up in a cold sweat every time.

Couldn't imagine why those particular dreams other than I used to be notorious cutting classes my last two years. lol

all has had some form of that nightmare, I know I did. The caveat always was, even though you never attended a class, the final counted 60% of your grade, so if you El Perfectoed it, you could still pull a D.

about every year or so, I have that dream/nightmare. I'm running all over Martin Hall trying to find this professor to turn in a big final project. I think a Comp Sci course, and I have to have it to graduate. Final exams have wound down, most folks are headed home, the classrooms and offices are dark and empty... can't find him anywhere. I'm freaking out, without that project I flunk the class...
As Freddie sings - left me in a cold cold sweat.

Graduation, suddenly they hold up the ceremony and notify me that I cannot graduate, because there is a one hour course I forgot to take that is a requirement for graduation. That one will wake you up in a cold sweat, too.

May 6, 2023 will mark 25 years since I got my Clemson degree. Dang I am getting old. At least 6 times a year I have that same dream where I am walking into Dr. Kimbler's class for my final exam and realize I am not prepared AT ALL. I likely hone in on that class because I had that class on Wednesday afternoons and I often skipped it to go play basketball at Fike. Subconsciously, I guess I still can't figure out how I pulled an A with so little effort as far as class attendance goes.

failing and that I probably wouldn't be able to drop the class which would result in me losing my assistantship, forcing me to figure out a future without a Master's Degree.
This phased out the football dream that it was an away game and I forgot my shoulder pads.
