Also I think the position coaches encouraging him to opt out probably had to do more with his amount of effort at that point than anything.

Great talent. Great guy. But yes, it seemed like he didn’t have the consistent drive

Yeah I don't like it either. I think it shows selfishness. And that's surprising that the parents are teaching that to him. But not really. A lot of good sitting out though Orange Bowl did for him there, #### still hasn't worked out in front of a scout yet. LOL. Hopefully for his sake he'll be good and healthy on April 4th and not you know have a hangnail or something.

Yes he opted out of plays then he opted out of the game then he opted out of full participation at the combine and then he opted out of pro day. Anyone see a pattern here?

No doubt he has the ability to be great. I just wonder how he is going to be when he gets millions of dollars. Hope he does well.

Honestly, I am not buying a word he said. I hope I am wrong, but his actions reflect what I saw on the field the entire year.

Funny watching all the guys who played in the Orange Bowl work out at the Combine and Pro Day while the opt-out guy (I will always remember each and every one) doesn’t.
With a payout coming, get insurance and play in the ####### bowl game.

Thanks for the three year commitment.
Now go do great things in the NFL and keep Clemson on the tongue of future recruits.
So guys, this is how to move on.

Just because it’s the norm doesn’t mean it’s cool. Dabo’s been able to recruit the type of player who sees things through. Perhaps we’ve had more who weren’t but felt they had to follow the group. I find it low character. This university made him a millionaire. Yes, he made millions off of his NIL PLUS had a six figure a year scholarship including room, board, and nutrition/training. He made a commitment to this university and broke it the first chance he got. That’s how the world sees it. That said, good luck kid. I hope you do well and never opt out again. Keep your commitments.

I'm not sure about Tee, but I'm pretty sure Trevor and DeShawn entered the draft after their third year at Clemson.

I'm a Myles Murphy fan, and believe he will quickly be an NFL starter. But no one has done less to help themselves in the NFL draft.

He opted out most of his career, not surprised.
