Concerning talent (plus missing 3 needed players)..and this year the talent level is much more spread out and with good backups.

Last year, cain was suspended. Alexander was injured during the game. Lawson came in injured. However, it wasn't a talent issue that killed us last year. Imexplicably, we let their tight end uncovered for long touchdowns. Oblivious to the onside kick. Kick-off coverage optional. The difference seems like players are more attentive to detail. For example, against pitt the shovel pass worked everytime. Ever since, that play hasn't worked
