IMG Academy annual tuition is insane!!!!!

Has anybody seen this? Harvard is $60,000/year and this place is $70,000/year? How can anyone possibly afford that? This is where we have been getting some of our recruits too.

I'm not accusing anyone but I would imagine that there are college boosters around the country that "support" scholarships to the academy.

I'd imagine a lot of the 4-5 star prospects coming out of there don't pay a penny of that. For better or worse, there are many boarding schools/academies which charge a similar tuition.

...top flight schools provide huge sums of scholly dollars to their admitted students. Their endowment resources are massive, so they can afford to cherry-pick their applicant pool and offer big incentives to get the "ideal" students they want. The rich and ultra-rich in general have to pay the full tuition, as it should be.

I suspect IMG works the same way since there's no way a lot of these high school athletes who come from middle to lower income families could even sniff the front steps without it. My guess is most of these elite athletes pay little if any of the total cost of attendance at IMG.
