yeah, she would probably do something stupid like asking a guy in a wheel chair to stand up so he could be acknowledged or drop the f-bomb during a nationally televised news conference. I would hate for her to go out and do some stupid things like that!

I spoke to Knotts in a Biker strip bar at the beach about four years ago. He told me that he wasn't Senator knotts in there. That he was just Jake, and I broke out laughing right in his face.

As a person who works in economic development in the state I know she is highly thought of for her efforts in selling the state. People who work for the SC Department of Commerce and even some who are devout Democrats praise her for the work she is doing to help bring jobs to SC. They say she is never too busy to help them with phone calls to prospective companies as well as making trips to seal the deal. They say she is always very up to speed on what the drivers are for the deal and relates very well to the client. I am happy to call her a fellow alum! Go Tigers.....

I am truly not disrespecting your opinion. But as a teacher, just who, in the long term, is she planning to work in the jobs that she is trying to create? She and the State Superintendent of Education are killing public education in this state. Our students are not going to be prepared to work those jobs and compete in the global economy. No one is thinking about the long term effects their policies are going to have on the future of our state.
