If BCS Bowls were picked today

National Championship: ND vs. Bama

Orange: FSU vs. Big East
Rose: Big 10 Champ vs. Pac 12 Champ
Fiesta: Big 12 vs. At Large
Sugar: SEC vs. At Large

At larges:
Can't take another SEC
Won't take another Big East or Big 10
That leaves us, Pac 12 and Big 12 vying for 2 spots

Right now that would be us, Stanford and Oklahoma

Bowls are ALL about $s and I don't see any of them taking Stanford or any Pac 12 team other than Oregon over us.

That said, it would help ensure us a spot if Oregon beat OSU and won the Pac 12.

Oregon beating Oregon State won't help them win the Pac 12... Stanford would have to lose or they won't even be in the Championship game. Texas beating KState would be more helpful to us... then Oklahoma is Big 12 champs and only 2-loss Big 12 teams are available as an at-large.

Stanford losing at UCLA would get Oregon in the championship game too though. And I think it's quite possible.

We need UCLA to beat Stanford then Oregon to beat UCLA

Texas beating K St would be terrible. If Texas gets BCS

eligible they are a shoe in. We want them to lose and drop to 9-3, K St to win the conference, and compete with OU at 10-2.
