I think there's a good chance Okey will enroll. I saw a mock baseball draft on the SI.Com site written by a professional baseball scout named Dave Perkin. He projected three catchers being taken in the first round, including the kid from Lexington, but he didn't list Okey as going in the first round.

On the other hand, he projected Meadows as being taken as the eigth pick in the first round by Kansas City. I don't expect we will see Meadows at Clemson.

Seems like we never really get lucky with the highly touted baseball prospects, whereas every once in a while a guy will decide not to go pro for other schools.

On the other hand, where would Boulware play if Okey ends up coming to Clemson? He's probably been our most dangerous hitter all year.

They could alternate the position, so that one guy doesn't have to catch every game. And the one not catching in the game can DH. Boulware has got to be exhausted!

If Okey is as good as advertised, they'll find a way to get them both in the lineup, even if one has to DH. We couldn't afford to leave a good hitter on the bench.
