It's hard to take the $E€ crybabies seriously when....

...even after one of their teams takes a loss (0-1), they STILL have a total logjam at the top of the polls with 6 out of the top 12 teams from their conference (including the 0-1 team/uga).
If they're ranked disproportionately higher than other conferences to start, they should fall disproportionately farther when they lose to break-up this ridiculous blockade at the top. They're a bunch of whining sissies that want everything handed to them on a plate like it has been for the past six or seven years. It's time for them to have to earn their rankings and get treated like everyone else when they lose too! Uga should have dropped more in all fairness to the way other conferences get treated, and 50% of the top 12 is complete BS...there are other teams that could challenge for those spots who aren't from the $E€.
A "W" is a "W", and an "L" is an "L".... and no conference should get a pass or special treatment based on past history. Period.

But UGA lost to the potential future #1 team in the country.

maybe I'm missing something. I'll I've heard from Dawg people, (and I'm a Dawg too) is how well Clemson played, and we were the ones who played poorly. We couldn't block your D line in first & second qtrs, we had 9 penalties, turned the ball over inside our twenty, and botched an easy FG. You can't beat a quality opponent like that. Clemson, on the other hand, played great. Converted a lot of 3rd downs, and didn't make any crucial mistakes. Clemson deserved to win, and I can't think of many teams in America that could have beaten y'all in Death Valley Saturday. Maybe the Broncos. Maybe the 49ers. Maybe the Redskins with a healthy RGIII.
I didn't think we should have been ranked #5 to begin with. I thought the rankings should have been reversed going into the game, with your experience and with our defense being so young. I think y'all are a solid top 4 team, and I think we have to earn our way back to the top 10. I think the current rankings are accurate.
But I will say, that was a great college football game. The best played game of the weekend. And Clemson should take it as a compliment that a losing UGA team didn't drop more... shows that everyone knows how hard it was to beat Clemson in that atmosphere.

Do you honestly believe the $E€ deserved to have...

...6 of the top 12 teams in the Preseason rankings (50%) and even after one of those teams (yours) loses, they just get shuffled around and STILL have 6 of the top 12 teams....shouldn't another team (from a different conference maybe) be allowed to break through that blockade until they lose.
My problem is the way the $E€ has been allowed to keep trading places with each other based on their inflated beginning rankings to the exclusion of other deserving teams by forming a ceiling that no one else can break through.

This is the party where we discuss how the SEC assures itself, one or two losses be darned, of having teams right there in the mix to make it an all SEC National Championship or at least one of them in there guaranteed because they are all clustered together and basically play a round robin tourney amongst the top SEC teams. UGA lose to SC and drop a few more? No problem because then UGA beats LSU and jumps right back up 6 spots. This joyous event used to be reserved for the likes of Notre Dame and maybe the real USC. It is why I've said on here a ton the playoffs will solve nothing because we will routinely see 3 teams from the SEC in the Final 4. Solution? Of course the solution is to beat them until their pimp ESPN can no longer protect them.
